A Day in Antigua

Today was a whirlwind of new sights, smells, tastes, sounds – all under the warm Guatemalan sun. We started the day at the Azotea coffee plantation. We had a tour, learned how coffee goes from the tree to our cups, and then sampled this nectar of the gods.

We then had the best tacos ever at Tacool, before going to the market and seeing the exquisite handiwork of the locals. After dinner at Las Palmas, we moseyed home to shower, have a team meeting, and rest.

Tomorrow we worship with our brothers and sisters at the church in Zone 7 and prepare for our week of ministry.

Arrived!

We arrived at the Mission House after a day of uneventful travel – which is exactly what we hoped for. No traffic issues. No ticketing problems. No customs hiccups. And everyone is here and smiling. Thank you for praying is through.

Now to sleep – and tomorrow: Antigua!
